Quick Getaways in Ontario

Camping near meIf you're looking for a great getaway in Ontario, and typed "camping near me" in your Google search bar, you've reached the right place!

Ontario has many five star hotels, but if you want to enjoy a laid back getaway in the outdoors with good company, unparalleled views and lots of fresh air, then Hartley Bay Marina is for you. Situated within the French River Provincial Park, this little piece of paradise is a short drive from most major centres.

Camping is also an affordable way for the family to spend quality time together away from home. There's no need to book expensive hotel rooms, which is especially great for large groups. And a campfire meal or barbecue is a great alternative to buying expensive meals.

Camping Near Me: Camping With Kids

Taking your kids camping is one of the best ways to create family memories and help kids to get in touch with nature from a young age. Of course, it can be daunting at first, especially when your kids are young, but at Hartley Bay Marina, we welcome kids of all ages. We've even created a guide to make you first camping experience with kids a memorable one (for all the right reasons, of course!).

Backcountry Camping Near Me

At Hartley Bay Marina, you can enjoy backcountry camping like nowhere else. Here you can paddle the historic waters of the French River and you can take in the majestic views of the Georgian Bay.

You're not under pressure to reserve a campsite in advance, which means that you can take your time to explore the French River Delta at your leisure. Alternatively. you could rent a fisherman's cottage on the riverfront and fish to your heart's content.

Launch your own canoe, kayak or motorboat, or reserve one from Hartley Bay Marina in advance to avoid disappointment.

Unplug and unwind from the stresses of normal life and slip away to the magical outdoors offered by the French River National Park and Hartley Bay Marina.
